There are risks and costs to action. But they are far less than the long range risks of comfortable inaction. — John F. Kennedy
Action
As families sign-up their child, students’ scores from i-Ready are included in a unique algorithm that calculates the dollar value to be funded to their own 529 college savings accounts.
We have implemented our unique 529 college funding program, "Step up for College" within the Sarasota community and have received very positive reaction to our mission and vision of supporting higher education. Through collaboration with leading members of the Sarasota educational community and GTE Financial, Two Steps Further is excited to partner and advance the program to as many children and families as possible.
The Two Steps family has been able to present their "Step up for College" program to a large number of interested families with overwhelming response and participation. As families sign-up their child, students' scores from i-Ready are included in a unique algorithm that calculates the dollar value to be funded to their own 529 college savings accounts. Once the child has achieved a minimum funding amount, an account is set up in their name and the account continually gets funded as the student earns dollars through their work with i-Ready.
Parents receive communication from Two Steps Further on their students monthly progress and dollars earned for their 529. Parents will also receive account updates from GTE financial once the 529 account is established in their child's name.
